Katarzyna Klimkiewicz’s film has won the EFA award in the Best Short Film category.
The film "Hanoi-Warsaw" directed by Katarzyna Klimkiewicz, presented during the 50th edition of the Festival in national and international short film competitions has won the European Film Award in the Short Film category.
Inspired by facts film tells a story of a young Vietnamese, who crosses the Polish border illegally, to meet with her boyfriend in Warsaw.
Congratulations for the director and the producers! We are even more proud as the film produced by TV Kino Polska originated from Krakow, when during 47th KFF the contest "Young Frames: Debutants", was launched.
This is the second consecutive succes of Polish cinema at EFA awards ceremony. Last year in the best Documentary Film category the winners were: Marcel Łoziński and his ‘Poste Restante’.
