Attention, attention! Our poster for 50th edtion is ready!
The poster promoting 50th jubilee edition of the event is designed by Kuba Sowiński. He is a graphic designer, graduate and lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He is co-founder of the nationwide quarterly magazine "2 +3 D grafika plus produkt." Kuba specializes in designing books, illustrations and posters. In the latter field he is the winner of several awards, including a bronze medal at the 20th International Poster Biennale in Warsaw. His works can be seen at www.szeryfy.pl
We have been cooperating with Kuba for 10 years, so he perfectly knows the style of the festival and our needs. Together with Katarzyna Skawińska, they are the ones to blame for our nice graphic materials 🙂
This year’s edition is unique, our event celebrates its 50th birthday. Therefore, we wanted the poster to highlight a festive nature of this edition. At the same time ready-to-go cork of a bottle of champagne suggests that the festival week is going to be dynamic, high-powered and full of surprises. – smiles Barbara Orlicz-Szczypuła, director of the Programme Office and Vice President of the Krakow Film Foundation.
