Save the date! The big countdown to the 63rd Krakow Film Festival begins!

Step inside and discover the international film premieres and the latest Polish documentaries and shorts. Take part in the most interesting industry events – pitching of Polish films, co-production panels and unforgettable networking opportunities during the day and after dusk.

Krakow Film Festival is one of the most important and oldest film festivals in the world. The festival is a comprehensive event combining several decades of tradition with modernity.

Approximately 200 films will be presented in 4 competitions (international and Polish) and 10 non-competition cycles, accompanied by numerous activities focused on the development of film culture as well as industry and educational events.

The Festival is accredited by the FIAPF and is on the exclusive list of American Academy Award® qualifying events in the short (fiction, animation, documentary) and feature-length documentary categories, as well as it recommends for the European Film Awards in the same categories. Festival is also listed for the BAFTA Awards in the short documentary and feature film categories.

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • 31 January: closing of the call for foreign films
  • 1 March: start of festival accreditation processes
  • 28 May: opening of the Krakow Film Festival
  • 2 June: Industry Awards Gala
  • 2 – 18 June: KFF VOD
  • 3 June: Festival Awards Ceremony
