Today the 10th anniversary of the Music Video Night.
This night, for the 10th time, our jubilee edition of the Music Video Night.
The programme of the event, apart from the most interesting music videos produced last year, includes also “The Best of” part. The authors of the programme of the first 5 editions of the event, Monika Derenda and Karolina Kowalska, watched the music clips presented in years 2003-2007 one more time. They selected these ones, which still appear to be fresh and innovative.
“Hahahaohhoho” by Yellow Ostrich will stand as allude to the last year’s Music Video Night. The clip director, Dawid Krępski, drew on musical work of the Spanish band Canada while filming this music video. Another clip which definitely refers to the 2011 edition is “Blind Faith” directed by Daniel Wolf, employing many of the conventions of a short film. An excellent actor, Jake Gyllenhaal will play in a short feature story accompanied by the music of Chase & Status.
Noel Paul tried to illustrate a beautiful song of Father John in a similar way in the second music video presented at the Music Vide Night, this time made by That Go. An American comic actress, Aubrey Plaza stars in that video.
A show demonstrating excellent use of computer techniques, which will be presented by Ninian Doff in crazy “What’ll It Take” by Graham Coxon and Eric Epstein, is still ahead of us. The paralyzing effect was achieved by using a simple computer animation programme After Effects- “Yes I Know” by Memory Tapes accurately shows ambience of the illustrated music.
The authors of the programme of the Music Video Night will proudly present a short but very evocative music video, produced in New Zeland, made for the song “Bachelorette”.
